Add Organizational roles
Multiple people can manage your organization, depending on the role you give them.
Steps
In the next few steps, we will show you how easy it is to add people to your organization so they can manage your organization based on their roles. In order to execute these steps, you have to sign into Jamatu.
Hint:
The roles are:
- View only
Best for people who need to view Organisation data, without permission to view the Organisation settings. They are not allowed to make any updates.
- Editor
Best for people who need to full access to the Organisation data, without permission to view the Organisation settings.
- Admin
Can manage all aspects of the Organisation, but they can't change the ownership. Best for Organisation administrators.
- Owner
Can manage all aspects of the Organisation and change the ownership. Best for Organisation owners.
Jamatu Dashboard
After you have logged into Jamatu, you will find yourself on the dashboard. Here you will find several functions that are available to you with Jamatu.
Click on "Go to Organizations"
Select organization
Select the organization for which you want to set the organizational roles.

Set up organizational roles
Here you can specify which person can manage your organization under which role.
Pro tip: In order for the person to be selected, they must be registered on Jamatu.
If the selected person does not already have a Jamatu account, you can enter their email address so that they will receive an invitation to register and be informed of the role they have been assigned.
The persons added with an assigned role are listed under "Existing organizational roles".
If you have invited someone to Jamatu, you can see the status of whether the person has accepted the invitation to register with Jamatu or whether it is still pending.
