Cancellation Fees

Here you can find information about which cancellation policies exist and what refund you can expect after a cancellation of your booking on Jamatu. 

When you make a booking on Jamatu, you will be charged credit card fees as well as Jamatu's administrative costs, which amount to 5.4% + 0.30 cents per booking. This amount is automatically debited each time you cancel your booking. The venue owners can determine on Jamatu how and whether the amount is refunded to the customer in the event of cancellation. Depending on which of the 4 types of cancellation conditions has been selected, you will have to meet the following conditions in the event of a cancellation:

Flexible cancellation conditions
If you cancel 1 day before check-in, you will receive a full refund minus 5.4% + 0.30 cents cancellation fees.

Moderate cancellation policy
If you cancel 5 days before check-in, you will receive a full refund minus 5.4% + 0.30 cents cancellation fees.

Strict cancellation policy
If there is a strict cancellation policy, your booking will be fully refunded within 48 hours of making the reservation, if check-in is at least 14 days away, minus 5.4% + 0.30 cents cancellation fees.
For cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund minus 5.4% + 0.30 cents.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.

No refund
If the owner applies the option of no refund, you will not receive any refund if you cancel your booking.
